Rhapsody Brochure

The goal of the Rhapsody Brochure was to introduce and promote an exciting new home community called Rhapsody — a joint project between HR Developments and Rosehaven Homes. David was tasked to design the community logo and a brochure that targets new home buyers. David's clean, bright and colourful design conveys an uplifting and positive experience about living in this vibrant town and country community. For the cover, he featured simple lead‑in text, a smiling woman, the community logo, and a flower with a wrap‑around tag‑line. For the inside spread, David emulated the look of a family board game with the game's path made from contrasting monochrome lifestyle images. Continuing with this "look", he photographed actual game pieces and dice, digitally supplemented shadows below them in Adobe Photoshop, and he placed them into the layout to visually augment the text areas that describes the community. The focus for the spread is a map that David crafted, pin‑pointing local amenities. On the back cover, a lifestyle image is beside text about the developer and the builder with a labeled aerial map featured below. David's exciting and creative brochure design has successfully achieved all of the client's goals.
