Beaverbrook Homes is a well known and successful new home builder in the Toronto area. David was asked to design a generic and corporate brochure for use at all of Beaverbrook's new home sales offices. "Building Enduring Value" was the theme and david came up with a very appropriate golden nest egg visual which symbolizes the intrinsic value and the secure investment which comes from owning a Beaverbrook home. The front cover of David's brochure design is a combination of three separate stock images which he has skillfully combined and colour adjusted using Adobe Photoshop.The inside spread continues the same theme with text about the builder and their quality built homes. Below is a collage of beautiful interior and exterior images of Beaverbrook's model homes. Adobe Photoshop was used to add the featured image of the boy and girl, who appear to be holding the Beaverbrook Homes logo. Below them is a die-cut arched flap, designed to hold brochure inserts. On the outside of the flap, David created a golden medallian with a photoshop 3D effect that says,"Building Enduring Value - Since 1968". David's attractive brochure design has met and exceeded Beaverbrook's expections.
Beaverbrook also asked David to design multiple inserts to go inside their new corporate brochure to showcase all of Beaverbrook's new home designs and floorplans. These inserts were designed for the Beaverbrook's Cornell new home community in the town of Markham, which is just northeast of Toronto. The front of the insert features a colour illustration of the main exterior elevation of the semi-detached model. The inside spread displays the black and white floorplans for each floor of the semi and on the back cover of the insert are the alternate front elevations that are available. David's insert design closely follows the "look and feel" of Beaverbrook's corporate brochure design and uses a co-ordinating colour pallet to achieve complete colour harmony for both designs. The end result is an attractive package for the new home buyer, as well as a very professional corporate image for Beaverbrook Homes.
